What Is FP TruckFest 5.0?
FP TruckFest 5.0 is rapidly becoming one of the most talked-about meets of the spring. This high-energy two-day event is known for its burnout competitions, dirt drags, dyno competitions, show-and-shine, vendor tents, and, of course, the food trucks.
As engines roar and tires scream, spectators of all ages will line the fences to watch the action unfold. Families, friends, and die-hard truck fans will gather in excitement as competitors push their trucks to the edge, looking to earn serious payouts and bragging rights.
Overall, this is not an event you’re going to want to miss — so let’s break down everything you can expect, one event at a time.
Kings of Chaos Burnout Competition
The event kicks off in true FP fashion with the Chaos Burnout Competition. Get ready to witness a heart-stopping fight to the finish as drivers battle it out over who can destroy their tires in the best way possible.
If you were hoping for more burnouts, then you absolutely don’t want to miss Saturday’s burnout competition, because the higher the stakes, the higher the smoke. By the end of the night, the driver deemed to have the best burnout will take home a massive $6,000 cash prize for first place, second place earns $2,500, third takes home $1,000, and fourth still walks away with $500. That means $10,000 in payouts from one night of burnouts!
Dirt Drags – 200 Feet of Pure Competition
The dirt drags are a short yet intense “sprint” down a 200-foot track, where competitors will fight to balance speed and control. Unlike traditional drag racing, this event is held on packed dirt, which ups the challenge and adds even more fun. The dirt drags are broken into index / typical pulling truck classes.
Work Stock Diesel/Gas – 4.2 Index @ 200 Feet
Get ready for sharp, precise runs from mostly stock trucks. These are the trucks you’ve probably seen on the streets or at work, but now they’re here to make a statement. This class relies heavily on driver experience in the dirt, and it will quickly show whether you have what it takes. Payouts: 1st $500 | 2nd $300 | 3rd $200
Hot Street Diesel – 3.80 Index @ 200 Feet
More modifications are allowed here, including upgraded turbos and fuel systems. Spectators will see trucks hitting faster times with bigger smoke and even more intense competition.
Now, the stakes are higher—these trucks aren’t just stock anymore. There are still rules to keep things fair, but the limits are being pushed. With upgraded turbos, advanced fuel systems, and other various modifications, they’re tearing down the track faster than ever. Expect massive smoke, ear-shattering roars, and heart-pounding speeds that will leave spectators on the edge of their seats. Payouts: 1st $500 | 2nd $300 | 3rd $200
Modified Diesel
Welcome to the big leagues. Any turbo setup, NOS, propane, or water/meth setup is fair game. The drivers here are leaving nothing on the table, putting everything they’ve got onto the dirt track. This isn’t just racing anymore—this is chaos, precision, determination, and a full-throttle fight to the finish!
Payouts: 1st $1,000 | 2nd $300 | 3rd $200
Hot Gas
Brace yourself as these full-bodied gasoline trucks explode off the front lines of the track with unstoppable force. With screaming high-horsepower engines and that unmistakable rumble of big cubic inches ready to go. This will be a great time for all who get the chance to watch.
Payouts: 1st $500 | 2nd $300 | 3rd $200
Open Truck
The Open Truck Dirt Drags are about to blow the roof off!!! Forget what you know—these trucks aren’t just vehicles, they’re monsters built to obliterate the competition. From fully built racing rigs to everyday rides and sleepers that plan to snatch the win, this will be a showdown to remember. Only the boldest will dare to line up and clash for ultimate victory. Payouts: 1st $1,000 | 2nd $300 | 3rd $200

Dyno Competition – Highest Horsepower Wins
This is the ultimate proving ground—where excuses die, and numbers don’t lie. When your vehicle hits the dyno, there’s no running and no hiding. The truth flashes in front of the crowd in real time, leaving zero room for overhyping, guessing, or claiming “it feels fast.” Three pulls—that’s all you get. Three chances to push your build to its absolute limit and prove it belongs at the top. When the smoke clears and the rollers stop spinning, only the best will stand on the podium. This isn’t just another competition; it’s a can’t-miss showdown of power, pride, and pure horsepower. With over $5,000 in cash up for grabs, this is sure to grab everyone's attention.
Payouts: 1st $3,000 | 2nd $2,000 | 3rd $500
Show & Shine
For those bringing clean builds and detailed rides, Show & Shine entries are available with either Gold Spots or Silver Spots. Whether you're competing or simply showcasing your hard work, this category gives your build the spotlight it deserves.
