Use the XDP Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Replacement Radiator XD297 to upgrade the failed radiator in your 2006-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ & LMM. The Xtra Cool Radiators are built for increased durability over your factory radiator. Using construction techniques borrowed from the HD and semi-truck industry, Xtra Cool Radiators give you a long-lasting direct-fit upgrade to protect your engine and cooling system. 

High-Efficiency Core Design

With more fins per inch, and heavy duty tubes to increase cooling efficiency, the upgraded core design allows you to maximize cooling potential of your Duramax.

Internally Reinforced

Using a special aluminum brazing technique, the Xtra Cool Radiators are built for increased strength. The internally reinforced end tubes and outside corners provide more strength where the core is most vulnerable. 

Gasket Design

A common failure point in many OE radiators, Xtra Cool Radiators use a proprietary gasket that allows for contraction, expansion, and front-end movement. 

Revised End Tanks

Using a fiber reinforced plastic mix adds strength to the end tanks. Reinforcement ribs are added to the weak points to help eliminate end tank failures.

Upgraded Mounting Points

The integrated mounting points have been updated for added strength. This allows for the radiator to be securely mounted in the factory locations. 

End Tank/Core Assembly

Xtra Cool Radiators use a heavy gauge steel crimp strip to mate the core to the end tanks. Instead of using aluminum like the factory radiator, the heavy gauge steel helps to eliminate the common failures of tank and core separation.

All products that are in question of Warranty must be returned shipping prepaid to XDP and must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase receipt. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser.
