Modifications and motorsports add more strain to the flex plate which can result in heat spots from the torque converter. Constant heat cycles can cause these heat spots to crack and even cause the flex plate to break apart.

This Billet Tow & Race Series Flex Plate is constructed of billet steel forgings for unmatched durability and strength. Engineered and built to withstand 1,500 lbs. ft. of torque, this flex plate is precision-balanced and SFI 29.3 approved for use in high-output diesel trucks.
