The XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD449 is a great way to update the old, dry-rotted battery cables in your 1989-1993 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. If your battery cables are old and weathered, they can cause a variety of problems for your truck. Battery wires that have deteriorated can cause no-start issues and other charging system problems. These troubles can put additional burden on your vehicle's electrical system, leaving you stranded on the side of the road!

Each Battery Cable Set is made with a 2/0 (or 00 AWG) wire construction for better conductivity and is specifically designed to replace your existing cable. For a rugged and secure connection, each cable has heavy-duty crimped-on tin plated copper terminals. To protect the cable from acidic battery vapors and oxidization, each connection is then wrapped with an adhesive lined shrink wrap. For enhanced protection, each set comes with military-style terminals, terminal covers, and wire loom.
