The XDP Xtra Cool Direct-Fit Intercooler XD479 is a high-quality replacement for the damaged stock unit in your 1994-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. The factory intercooler on the Ram 2500/3500 can fail over time due to age, weather, and extreme conditions. Because the intercooler is mounted in the front of your truck for efficiency and airflow, it is also susceptible to damage from road debris. In addition to damage to the core, intercooler failure can result from the crimps on the end tanks or the plastic itself can eventually become brittle over time and crack.
