Let's start with the fact that the factory location and how tight things route inside the engine bay of a Duramax-powered Chevrolet and GMC truck. This makes things extremely difficult when you have to change to a different valley-based turbo that has no cooling provisions.
What does the HSP Billet Thermostat Housing Kit do differently?
First off, the HSP Billet Thermostat Housing Kit is a billet thermostat housing and tube that eliminates the factory coolant hose that crosses over the driver's side valve cover. What this does for you is it allows more room for aftermarket turbo systems and fuel components. Such as twin-turbo systems that need things moved, especially when making your own, having the extra room in the first place makes all the difference. The HSP Billet Thermostat Housing Kit also allows you the extra room to run dual CP3 Kits, and we all know that when we are trying to make the big power that comes with these add-ons, worrying about the room and worrying that your thermostat housing is going to work correctly.

We have always gone above and beyond for our customers, setting us apart from the rest. We will continue that same standard, but now we are taking things to the next level. Below you will be able to read & understand our "No BS" warranty, its process, and the guidelines in which to follow.

For years we have taken care of almost everything & anything that our customers had issues with, but we didn’t have a “set in stone” warranty. We have always gone above & beyond for our customers which set us apart from the rest. We will continue that same standard but Now, we are taking things to the next level. Below you will be able to clearly read & understand our “No BS” warranty, its process, and the guidelines in which to follow.
While it would be easier to tell you what isn’t covered, we will be as thorough as possible to make sure there are no questions unanswered. We manufacture parts from a single silicone boot all the way up to full turbo kits and everything in between. Here we will define what “is” covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
HSP Diesel guarantees that the workmanship, materials & components will be sold, shipped & delivered defect-free. Issues with a defect, chip, missing item, incorrectly shipped part, or any combination of these situations must be reported to HSP or the dealer where you purchased within 14 days of delivery. If items are damaged or missing due to shipping carriers’ mishandling, we will need pictures and will need to be notified immediately. Please see the ***Damaged Shipment Procedures below.
We put our products through a multitude of QC (Quality Control) checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure every product meets our high standards. From time to time “a” part may make it through with a defect or flaw undetectable to the human eye and can only be found by using the product. No Worries! We stand behind our products 100% and we are literally putting it in writing. Any products that fail, break, leak or warp will be replaced with a new part.
We’re not perfect and we are ok with that as long as you are ok knowing that we will keep trying anyway! Sometimes a product will pass all testing and real-world beta-testing only to find an indefinite flaw that requires a rework of the part or a redesign. We will classify these as recalls and will replace all known and documented products. It doesn’t happen often, but as we said, we want to put it in writing.
One of the hardest things to warranty at all is a coating that is applied to many different types of products, but we are giving it our best shot! We use top-of-the-line ©Prismatic Powders for all of our powder coat colors and ©Cerakote for our ceramics & high heat applications. But that isn’t enough to guarantee anything. Powdercoat has limitations such as being struck by rocks & road debris like a set of traction bars would be while driving. BUT, we are putting a 2-year limited warranty on our “underhood” powder Coated products. This will cover unprovoked chipping, peeling, or bubbling. These conditions MUST be unprovoked meaning there cannot be any cutmarks, score marks, nicks, drop marks, scuffs, or anything that would indicate the defect is a result of mishandling. But what if you do mess it up and you are at fault? We still have a deal for you. You are still our customer and we still want to make sure that your HSP part looks as sexy as it possibly can. So we will be offering ½ off pricing on recoating the product to its original beauty! These items will be stripped down, cleaned, and recoated at 1/2 the powder coating normal price.
We haven’t seen any of these yet, but to make sure we cover everything, let’s talk about what we cover on our silicone boots. This one is easy, If you ever blow apart an HSP silicone boot, we will replace it. If your boot ever melts, we will replace it. If your boot ever fails for any reason WE WILL REPLACE IT! See, we said it was easy.
While we have a great Warranty and do the best we can to cover and take care of you, not everyone is on the same page as us. All non-HSP brands are subject to that specific manufacturer’s warranty and procedures. This is not our decision, but we must follow the rules and procedures to ensure you (the customer) are taken care of.
Items being returned to HSP under a recall or known issue will receive a pre-paid label to return the product to HSP at no additional cost to you (the consumer).
Items that are warranty claims such as it doesn’t fit, I blew my boot apart or any other type of claim will be shipped to HSP at the expense of you (the consumer). Once the items are inspected a claim is given, HSP™ will cover the return shipping back to you at no additional fee. If your items are deemed to be an unwarrantable item, you will have a number of options listed below in the “OOPS, This isn’t a warranty issue” section.
No claim by the Purchaser of any kind, including claims for indemnification, shall be greater in amount than the purchase price of the HSP Product in respect to which damages are claimed. IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPANY BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER IN TORT, CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, RELIANCE, STATUTORY, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF REVENUES, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DAMAGE TO GOODWILL OR REPUTATION, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR SUCH DAMAGES COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEN, IN CONNECTION WITH, ARISING OUT OF, OR AS A RESULT OF, THE SALE, DELIVERY, SERVICING, USE OR LOSS OF USE OF THE HSP DIESEL PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER, OR FOR ANY LIABILITY OF PURCHASER TO ANY THIRD PARTY WITH RESPECT THERETO.
All warranty claims will require the HSP warranty claim form-xxx to be filled out and sent in with your item & claim number. You will be required to obtain a claim number BEFORE sending your item back so we can accurately track and expedite your claim without any delay or confusion. Any items sent back without authorization will be refused to alleviate any loss, confusion, or mishandling of any kind.
We understand that items can sometimes get damaged in shipping and that’s not your fault or ours. We are however here to help you with the claims procedures to ensure we can get you a replacement as soon as possible.
If your warranty claim is inspected and deemed to be a non-warrantable item, we will contact you to go over all possible options. Please understand that we are here to help make sure you have the highest quality and best-looking parts possible, but a mistake caused by you or your installer or any others not affiliated with HSP cannot be the responsibility of ours to fix even though accidents happen. We will do our best to work a discounted deal to fix the issue or offer a discount to replace the item or items, but this will be discretionary on a case-by-case basis.
