Who is XDP?

In 2002, the team that would become XDP saw that there needed to be a shop that could provide it all. They wanted to be able to sell some of the industry-leading parts (like HSP Diesel), all while providing country-wide distribution for those parts. Fast forward to now, XDP has two different warehouses on both the east coast and the west coast, providing a blanket of the country for parts.

What is XDP?

While XDP is a parts distributor, we will focus on their line of parts because those parts are what HSP Diesel sells. XDP has many parts that they saw needed to be brought to market. Seeing that many of the OEM lines had failed us in getting good replacements while the aftermarket world had become full of options. Still, many of them were so high-priced that they didn’t make sense for those looking for slight upgrades from the factory parts and didn’t need something so performance-oriented. So with seeing that gap, the XDP line of parts was born.

Why would you need products from XDP?

The products from XDP include coolers, Lines, fittings, and different reman parts. For many, these parts are part of cost savings but still allow you to have quality with support. This is a major factor in the XDP line. Now, these parts are not for the extreme performance-minded person. If you are looking to break records and run 9’s in the quarter, then the XDP line isn’t what you need, and in all honesty, that is more in the range of custom parts. However, if you are looking for quality parts to do slight upgrades to your truck while keeping the factory drivability or better, then yes, the XDP line is exactly what you need.

What makes XDP different?

XDP has a unique ability to see the parts they offer while offering their own line. This gives them the ability to say use this or use that a lot like what HSP can do.
