Intercoolers & Piping
From a hot side pipe to a cold side pipe and more, having a suitable piping kit or intercooler setup on your engine is something you don't want to mess up. A blown-out boot or cracked intercooler pipe can spell disaster quickly and without warning. Something like this will cause a boost leak, which means down on power or down on the side of the road. A problem like this is prevalent in the Ford Powerstroke 6.7L Diesel engines. This is one of the significant reasons that HSP Diesel developed our version of a fix to that with our aftermarket piping kit.
Components like the HSP Diesel Hotside, HSP Diesel Coldside, and intercooler piping are just as important as the boots you choose and the inner cooler you picked. Some people have called these parts intake pipes or intake tubes in the past. Just remember, they are the same as what we call the hot side and cold side pipes.
